Petals Preschool & Daycare celebrated its 20th Annual Day on 29th February 2024, at the prestigious Kamani Auditorium
The theme for this year’s event was “The Little Glass Slipper – A Tale of Cinderella,” aiming to showcase the magic of storytelling and the importance of dreams and determination. The function was a grand affair with two shows. The first show featured students from ten franchises – Surya Nagar, Vaishali, Kirti Nagar, Delhi Cantt., Vikaspuri, Krishna Nagar, Dwarka, and Faridabad, Noida 122, and Noida 116, with more than 500 parents witnessing the morning spectacle. The second show, dedicated to the Nirman Vihar students, showcased their talent and creativity in a magical rendition. The event was a culmination of months of hard work and preperation by the students, teachers, and the staff of Petals.
The event began with the Lamp Lighting, followed by a speech by the Chairperson, Mrs. Preeti Kwatra, a veteran Leader and a successful Parent Coach. Her words resonated with the audience as she reflected on the legacy of two decades of Petals and shared her vision for the future.
Mrs. Kwatra started her speech by expressing her gratitude to more than 500 parents presented there, acknowledging the efforts and dedication of the teachers, staff, and parents in making the school a nurturing and thriving environment for children. She spoke passionately about the importance of early childhood education and the role of Petals in shaping the future of its students.
Highlighting the school’s achievements and milestones, Mrs. Kwatra emphasised the school’s commitment to excellence in education and holistic development. She shared anecdotes and stories that showcased the impact of Petals on the lives of its students, inspiring everyone to continue their efforts in providing quality education and care.
As the show began, the performances by the little toddlers stole the show. Dressed in adorable costumes, they mesmerised the audience with their rendition of dances. Their innocence and enthusiasm brought the story to life, captivating the hearts of everyone present. The Franchise children’s dance performances added diversity and richness to the show, showcasing the unity and camaraderie among all the centers. Their enthusiasm and confidence were evident, showcasing the impact of Petals’ educational approach and values.
The students of Petals World School transported the audience into the magical world of Cinderella through their captivating acting and mesmerising dance performances. The stage came alive as the little performers brought to life the beloved characters and scenes from the classic fairy tale. From Cinderella’s transformation with the wave of a wand to showcasing the shrewdness of the stepmother and stepsisters, every moment was filled with enchantment and wonder.
The students’ dedication and enthusiasm were evident in their flawless performances, showcasing not only their talent but also their hard work and commitment. The audience was left spellbound, applauding the young stars for their unforgettable portrayal of Cinderella’s timeless tale.
As the curtains closed on the annual show, students left the audience in awe with a spectacular performance of the hit song “Believer.” The stage was electrified with energy as students danced with passion and enthusiasm, captivating everyone in the auditorium. The choreography was dynamic, with students moving in perfect sync, radiating confidence and joy.
In the end, the show proved to be a resounding triumph, validating the diligent efforts of each student and facilitator of Petals.
